course overview
Apologetics Kenya, in collaboration with Apologetics On Mission is pleased to offer the course Introduction to International Apologetics (ITIA): an overview of Christian Apologetics conducted for believers new to this branch of theology. It is conducted primarily on the internet via Zoom. When circumstances permit, portions will be taught in-person; i.e., in conjunction with country visits. This is a 16-lesson course based on 1.5 hours per class.
Each class includes both lecture and general discussion. A course Certificate of Accomplishment is awarded based upon attending at least 12 of the 16 lessons (75% of the classes). Students are expected to attend classes and participate in discussions, but there are no graded requirements (or a final course grade).

A. Define apologetics, explain its biblical basis, and justify its utility.
B. Be familiar with major apologetic topics and understand the biblically-based content at a first-order
level.
C. Develop the art of giving a reason for one’s faith in accordance with 1 Peter 3:15.
D. Develop and apply a practical apologetic approach for engaging non-believers.
